Charlotte Flair won the 2025 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble, last eliminating NXT’s Roxanne Perez. The women’s Rumble was a celebration of the greatest era of women’s wrestling in WWE history. A stacked field featured Iyo Sky, Flair, Bayley, and several satisfying surprise appearances.
Between WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, WWE legends and rumored surprises, the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble had a ceiling of “best women’s Royal Rumble ever” in its young history.

Everything That Happened In The Women’s 2025 Royal Rumble Match
Roxanne Perez entered her third Royal Rumble at No. 3 and cleaned house. There were only two women in the ring, so it was more like cleaning an apartment. Perez’s offense was very impressive and fans approved.
Valkyria was having a major wardrobe malfunction that was called out by Wade Barrett. She disappeared from the match for a moment and could be seen being helped by a production assistant.
Chelsea Green near-eliminated most of the field, then she pointed to the Royal Rumble sign for a big pop. The women ganged up on her and got booed. Fans even broke out into a “Chelsea” chant.
Fans chanted “you suck” at Ivy Nile as she entered the ring at No. 7. Nile ran wild with one German Suplex after another, including a double German Suplex on Lyra and Roxanne. Unsurprisingly, nobody sold this move better than Iyo Sky.
The theme early on was every new woman being highlighted with an array of offense. This included Lash Legend, who was booked as the monster heel early in the match with several power spots.
The first elimination of the night came when Chelsea Green eliminated B-Fab. Another huge pop for Green, and even more chants of “Chelsea.”
Bianca (No. 10) stacked five entrants onto each other and fired away with 10-count punches. She backflipped over each combatant that tried to attack her. It was amazing to watch.
Bayley (who forgot to remove her entrance gear) and Iyo Sky faced off after Bayley hit the ring at No. 12, but they were quickly attacked by PFC who dominated the middle of this match. After an impressive stay, PFC was eliminated one after another by Bianca Belair, Naomi, Bayley and Iyo Sky.
Piper Niven accidentally eliminated Chelsea Green after Bianca moved Naomi out of the way. This was very clever of WWE, because no babyfaces got any heat for eliminating people’s champion Chelsea Green.
Jordynne Grace entered at No. 19 as the worst-kept secret in WWE. This, despite Grace tweeting she would be at her mom’s birthday party this weekend.
Grace received “Holy shit” chants after hitting a DVD on Piper Niven. Bianca Belair broke up a reunion between Grace and Naomi by trying to toss out Grace.
Alexa Bliss entered as a huge surprise at No. 23, and WWE used this as a directive to bury the dirtsheets for misreporting that she wouldn’t be at the Royal Rumble. It was hilarious, and one of my favorite moments in Royal Rumble history.
Trish Stratus entered as yet another surprise, wearing her throwback gear from her days as manager of T and A. The pop was deafening.
The most heat for an elimination came when Liv Morgan eliminated Alexa Bliss.
Charlotte Flair entered at the iconic No. 27 to yet another big pop. WWE definitely saved its biggest appearances for the third quarter of the Rumble. Flair wore a knee brace on her left leg and unladed with chops on everything that moved.
Nia Jax became the sole record-holder for women’s eliminations by eliminating Zelina Vega before she even entered the ring.
Nikki Bella, not Becky Lynch, entered as the final Royal Rumble combatant. The field immediately ganged up on Nia Jax, who threw them all off her.
Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky set the record for longest stay in the Royal Rumble match. Liv officially had the record after Iyo was eliminated by Nia Jax, who racked up six more eliminations at once. Roxanne Perez ended up breaking this record a third time in one night.
The Women’s Royal Rumble Final Four featured Nia Jax, Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair and Roxanne Perez.
Charlotte Flair rallied to eliminate both Nia Jax and Roxanne Perez after a GOAT’ed sequence of eliminations from Nia.
