Before the Oscars 2025 celebration begins Sunday, there will be coverage of the event’s red carpet on free TV and streaming.
The Oscars, of course, will find the musical crime drama Emilia Pérez — which leads all nominees with 13 nods — vying for such top honors as Best Picture along with A Complete Unknown, Anora, The Brutalist, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance and Wicked.

The Oscars Red Carpet Show will air on ABC-TV and stream live on Hulu beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The show will be hosted by actor and dancer Julianne Hough and television personality Jesse Palmer.
According to ABC, “The 30-minute special will highlight Oscar nominees, performers and presenters, and provide a multi-view experience of the red-carpet arrivals, giving the audience every can’t-miss moment from Hollywood’s biggest celebration.”

ABC News Is Also Broadcasting Oscars 2025 Coverage That Begins Before The Red Carpet Show
ABC News will officially kick off the coverage of Oscars 2025 with a three-hour pre-show called On the Red Carpet at the Oscars, which is set to begin Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT and run up until the beginning of the 97th Oscars celebration.
The network noted that On the Red Carpet at the Oscars will air live on all ABC-owned television stations and affiliates and will be streaming live on ABC News Live.

In addition, KABC meteorologist Leslie Lopez, supermodel Roshumba Williams, and fashion expert Joe Zee will give a breakdown of the Oscars 2025 red carpet fashions.
