It might not have been the season we’re used to from UConn, but their quest to be a 3, sorry, 32.
It might not have been the season we were used to for UConn, but they are still headed towards at least trying to be back to back to back NCAA champions.
They get their 13th straight tourney win taking down Oklahoma, Marcus Morris, Jason Fitz.
What did you see here, Marcus?
Ugly game, man, ugly game, but it get like that in the NCAA tournament.
Um, you know, UConn has been here a few times, so they know how to win ugly games, really locked down, defended.
Um, they know how to pull out the win.
It was very, very ugly, but hey, you gotta win them.
Yeah, Jeremiah fears for Oklahoma, a big part of that, right?
Yeah, really good guard, 18 year old, lengthy point guard with pace, poised to be that young, I was very impressed on how the seniors of Oklahoma embraced him and allowed him to make mistakes and continue to play.
The sky’s the limit for this young guy.
I really love his game and I definitely could see him playing in the NBA sometime here soon.
Yeah, I got to give Alex Caravan a little bit of credit for Connecticut too.
Uh, frankly, not a great game for him, but down the stretch when they needed a huge bucket, he got it.
When they needed a huge block, he got it.
When they needed a huge board, he got it like there is something to championship DNA.
He’s been here before, right?
You know, he leads his team and scoring really good player, man down the stretch.
UConn locked up.
Um, Oklahoma shot 3 for 17 from the 3, so they just tell you that championship pedigree, even when the shots aren’t falling, they’re still standing on their defense and they did a really good job closing his game out.
Um, it’d be interesting to see him on Sunday versus the best team in college basketball though.
Yeah, against Florida, you think they stand a chance?
I don’t.
If they don’t shoot the ball well, I see Florida really cruising through this win.
I know they played in the last two championships, but the way Florida is playing, you damn near have to play perfect.
