Timothée Chalamet had a solid support system at the 2025 Oscars.
Moments after The Brutalist star Adrien Brody was awarded Best Actor on Sunday, March 2, Chalamet — who was also nominated, for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown — was comforted by girlfriend Kylie Jenner and mom Nicole Flender.
In footage of the sweet moment captured by E! News, Jenner leaned forward in her seat to kiss Chalamet, 29, as he applauded for Brody. Flender, who was seated next to her son, then gave him a kiss on the cheek. Brody, 51, also later hugged Chalamet after his win.
It was a family affair for the actor, who attended not only with his mom and girlfriend but also sister Pauline Chalamet, who was photographed on the red carpet ahead of the ceremony.
While Jenner, 27, did not walk the red carpet, she was snapped both inside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with Chalamet, as well as with her beau at the Vanity Fair Oscar Afterparty.

Chalamet has been recognized with nominations at various ceremonies throughout awards season, and recently nabbed the 2025 SAG Award over Brody for his portrayal of folk legend Dylan, 83.
“I was not expecting this,” Chalamet began his acceptance speech. “I’ll start by thanking my mother who I’m here with tonight. She has been working at Actors Equity for 40 years, the stage union.”
Noting that he prepared to play Dylan for five years, he continued, “I poured everything I had into playing this incomparable artist, Mr. Bob Dylan, a true American hero. And it was the honor of a lifetime playing him.”
Chalamet concluded by shouting out other performers: “I’m really in pursuit of greatness. I know people don’t usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats. I’m inspired by the greats here tonight.”

“I’m as inspired by Daniel Day-Lewis, Marlon Brando and Viola Davis as I am by Michael Jordan and Michael Phelps, and I want to be up there, so I’m deeply grateful to that,” he added. “This [award] doesn’t signify that, but it’s a little more fuel. It’s a little more ammo to keep going.”
As for Brody, Sunday’s win marks his second Best Actor Oscar, after previously winning for his leading role in 2002’s The Pianist; with the latter, he still holds the record for the youngest winner in the category, three weeks before his 30th birthday.
“I feel so fortunate,” Brody said in his acceptance speech Sunday. “Acting is a very fragile profession. It looks very glamorous, and at certain moments it is.”
“But the one thing that I’ve gained, having the privilege to come back here, is to have some perspective,” he added, in part. “And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you’ve accomplished, it can all go away.”
