Spain booked their place in the semi-finals of the Nations League after beating the Netherlands on penalties after a 3-3 draw at Mestalla.
Luis de la Fuente made changes to his team for the return leg, handing Dani Olmo a start and Pedri a place on the bench.
Lamine Yamal was also in the starting XI once more, while Ferran Torres had to settle for a place among the substitutes.
Spain got off to a great start and took the lead after just eight minutes. Mikel Oyarzabal was fouled in the box and promptly picked himself up and slotted home a confident penalty.
La Roja then thought they had doubled their lead. Lamine Yamal did brilliantly to free Oyarzabal to score but the goal was ruled out for offside.
The Dutch hit back early in the second half through a controversial penalty. A grabbing match between Memphis Depay and Robin Le Normand ended with the Dutchman on the floor and the referee pointing to the spot Memphis tucked home the spot-kick to level the match on the hour mark.
Yet Spain hit back quickly through that man Oyarzabal again. The Real Sociedad star tried to chip the goalkeeper after a quick break and saw his effort blocked but managed to head in the rebound.
However, the lead only lasted just over 10 minutes as the Dutch hit back through Ian Maatsen after good work from substitute Xavi Simons.
The goal saw Pedri summoned from the bench and the game head into extra-time. And it was left to Yamal to put Spain ahead yet again. The teenager took a brilliant touch, cut inside Maatsen and curled home a superb finish to add another crucial goal to his collection.
The Netherlands were stunned but somehow managed to win their second penalty of the night minutes later. Unai Simon brought down Simons and the former Barca star converted the spot-kick for 3-3.
A thrilling game then went all the way to penalties, with Pedri having the final say. The Barcelona midfielder blasted the decisive kick into the top corner to seal a semi-final spot.
