5:21PM The goalkeeper half chucked it in but that is that: YouTube AllStars win on penalties. Cue the Ronaldo celebration from Speed.
5:20PM That returns serve to the AllStars, who will win if they score this penalty. Speed is going to take it. He is going through the full Ronaldo routine.
5:19PM He missed so many chances in the game but he squeezes the penalty in. 4-3 to the AllStars.
KSI is now stepping up for the Sidemen and must score…
5:18PM The shootout is level after a powerful hit from Weller into the top corner. The scores are level, but the AllStars have a couple of penalties to take, the Sidemen only one.
5:17PM The Sidemen are level again, but ChrisMD can put the AllStars back in front.
Almost a no look penalty as he whips the ball into the far corner. Sidemen 2 AllStars 3 after three a piece.
5:16PM The man who scored a hat-trick in normal time converst the penalty. The AllStars lead 2-1 after two penalties each.
5:15PM Sends Sketch the wrong way and they are on the board. 1-1.
5:15PM The team in red have the advantage in the shootout. 1-0.
5:14PM And against the odds Sketch has saved from Miniminter! Diving to his left and saving with his top arm.
5:11PM We are heading to penalties.
5:09PM Straight from kick-off, the All Stars are level again. Composed centre-forward play from Baker who steadied himself in the box and slots beyond xQc.
5:08PM Seconds after that AngryGinge block, he kicks fresh air at the near post from a corner, allowing Clarke to steal in at the back post and score what could prove the winner.
5:07PM Weller thought he was in for his hat-trick and to win it for the Sidemen, but AngryGinge moves across to make a vital block.
5:05PM Another chance for Niko up front for the AllStars but his glancing header drifts wide. A lot of tired legs out there now. JME with a flashy piece of skill but he drags his shot from distance wide.
5:00PM Niko and Speed have spurned numerous chances for the Sidemen and the former shoots straight at the goalkeeper when clear through. The goalkeeper xQc is injured and it looks like he will be coming out.
4:57PM Behzinga is the scorer for the Sidemen, meeting the pullback from Minimiter and sweeping a shot beyond Sketch. The momentum is with the Sidemen now.
4:54PM Manny has been the best player on the pitch, and he combines with brother Tobi at the edge of the box before lifting a shot over Sketch into the roof of the net.
4:51PM Another raft of substitutions have just been made. As the Sideman look to stage a late comeback, Theo Baker has seen a shot cleared off the line while Harry Clarke’s shot from range grazes the post.
4:46PM Decent wing play from Speed to skin his man on the outside, and he sends the ball across the six-yard box where Kai Cenat has a tap-in on the volley.
4:45PM The game did not have much of a defined shape to start with, but it is a free-for-all now. Everyone who hasn’t scored is trying to get their goal before the final whistle blows.
4:42PM The Sidemen are caught on the ball at the edge of their own box and Chunkz’s shot squirms through the body of goalkeeper xQc.
4:41PM Fosh with a brave defensive clearance for the All Stars. Throwing himself at the ball just inches off the ground in the six-yard box to keep the scores level.
4:37PM The defender playing up front gets his goal, even if he was offside in the build-up. He finished himself rather than passing to Speed.
4:34PM That is also his first goal in one of these matches. He tries to copy his hero Cristiano Ronaldo’s space and run up, and his right-footed penalty had too much power from xQc. Speed then produces the ‘SIU’ celebration.

4:33PM That goal means that all seven members of the original Sidemen have scored in these matches, so there is a squad celebration featuring the manager and all the subs near the corner flag.
Prior to that, Fosh tries to create a viral moment by shredding Clattenburg’s yellow card.
4:28PM Speed wins the AllStars a corner after an impressive turn of foot down the left. Moments before that, there was come lovely midfield work from Manny who is the best player on the pitch by a street.
4:27PM They were putting the pressure on with a succession of corners, and it was head tennis in the penalty area. No challenge was made against Logan Paul and he glanced a header into the bottom corner.
4:24PM The AllStars start the second half on the front foot, and force xQc into an early save. Central defender Angry Ginge looks to have gone up front in the early minutes of the half.
4:22PM The second half will kick-off shortly.
4:12PM There is some half-time entertainment on the Wembley pitch. This could be a feature of the World Cup final if Gianni Infantino has his way.
3:54PM Eight goals, two penalties, sublime and ridiculous goalkeeping.
3:52PM Manny’s natural ability prominent again in the the build-up with a through ball. Very nearly an own goal with a defending kicking the ball against his own post by Tobi followed up.
3:48PM Sketch was being peppered with shots, and could not keep this one out. Weller clearly has a decent left foot, he strikes the ball cleanly.
3:45PM Sketch has had a few rough moments in goal, but he will feel better after punching clear a rasping shot from the edge of the area. Speaking at the side of the pitch, KSI said he is managing his minuted with a fight upcoming at the end of the month.
3:42PM The Sidemen’s Manny looks one of the more accomplished players out there, he just produced an eye-catching dribble through the heart of the pitch before a well-weight through ball.
3:39PM Theo Baker has scored his second of the game, a powerful shot across goalkeeper xQc into the side-netting.
3:36PM Decent hit with some swerve from around 25 yards out, and the shot went straight through the hands of Sketch and into the net.
3:33PM Set up by Speed, and his scuffed shot squirmed under the body of the goalkeeper at the near post. The AllStars find themselves in the ascendancy, unexpectedly.
3:31PM A couple of important defensive interventions from AngryGinge at the back for the AllStars. Their captain Speed is continously being caught offside, which judging by the commentary seems to be something of a running joke.
3:28PM Ironically this is more relaxing [than boxing], it’s not my sport but I’m an entertainer. I’m gassed and it’s halfway through the first, it’s a tough.
I think the ref is blind with the penalty.
3:26PM A short stoppage in play because Sidemen goalkeeper xQc is down after taking a whack. At the other end, Miniminter sent a volley wide of the far post. Niko spurns another opening for the AllStars, his control letting him down in the box.
3:23PM Corner swung in from the left and Baker was completely unmarked at the back post to plant a header home.
3:21PM The Allstars really should have the lead, it is a terrible miss by Niko at the back post, in acres of space and only six yards out. Took his eye off the ball and shanked it wide.
3:19PM After those two early goals there is a break in play for a raft of substitutions. Apparently in last year’s match there were 76 overall, so it you’re expecting a blow by blow account of all the rolling changes think again.
3:17PM Right-footed from fully 30 yards, it arced over the head of xQc and into the far corner.
3:16PM Allstars have just missed a penalty, Mr Beast not getting enough power on his effort and it is saved easilt by xQc.
3:12PM Excellent penalty, left-footed into the side netting leaving Sketch with no chance.
3:12PM The Sideman have had an effort cleared off the line, and plead with referee Mike Clattenburg for a handball penalty.
AngryGinge blocked it on the line. After seeing the incident on the big screen, Clattenburg gives it.
3:08PM Sidemen showing in the early exchanges why they have won four of the last five of these matches, winning the physical battles and moving the ball into advanced areas quite easily. Zerkaa tries a shot from the edge of the box but it is rather loopy and the goalkeeper Sketch catches with ease. Fair to say Sketch doesn’t fill the goal.
3:05PM Sidemen get the game started, and from kick-off Miniminter tries to score from the halfway line. High, wide and handsome.
The YouTube Allstars manager has substituted Theo Baker within 20 seconds.
3:02PM As expected, there is barely an empty red seat in site at Wembley. Even those seats behind the dugouts which are empty in the 15 minutes either side of half-time for England games are filled. YouTube AllStars play all in red, Sidemen are in black and white.
2:53PM Sidemen (4-4-2): xQc (GK), Mark Rober (DEF), Wroetoshaw (DEF), KSI (DEF), JME (DEF), Vikkstar123 (MID), Behzinga (MID), Logan Paul (MID), TBJZL (MID), Miniminter (FWD), Zerkaa (FWD)
YouTube Allstars (4-4-2): Sketch (GK), MrBeast (DEF), Max Fosh (DEF), AngryGinge (DEF), Fanum (DEF), Speed (MID), ChrisMD (MID), Chunkz (MID), Kai Cenat (MID), Niko (FWD), Theo Baker (FWD)
2:44PM The figure on the left is Sidemen manager Calfreezy. For reasons known only to himself, he is dressed like he has walked off the pages of a Patrick Hamilton novel; a London spiv selling stolen goods from bombsites or counterfeit ration cards.
2:41PM We’ve got the greatest football of all time: Miniminter. He’s got 9.8 on FotMob. He’s up there with Messi and Ronaldo.
2:28PM The punditry panel are now breaking down some of the goals scored in previous meetings, and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of some of the players. Not quite the Monday Night Football treatment, but plenty earnest. Defoe occasionally looks like he is going to crack and start laughing, but like a true pro he stays in character.
2:22PM The game is being broadcast on the Sidemen’s YouTube channel and the level of production is quite impressive, you have to concede. Three ex-pros on punditry duties, and there are a stack of goals between Defoe, Aluko and Heskey. Would not look out of place on BBC’s coverage of an early-round FA Cup tie.
2:19PM
1:50PM As Andy Warhol almost said, in the future everyone will be famous for 90 minutes and that future has arrived for two teams of YouTubers playing football in front of a sold-out Wembley this afternoon.
