Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet is following in her dad’s footsteps!

On Thursday, Jan. 30, the drummer, 56, was joined by his fellow Nirvana band members, bassist Krist Novoselic and rhythm guitarist Pat Smear, as they reunited for the FireAid Benefit Concert for California Fire Relief.

The event marked the first time the band’s surviving members had reunited since 2020, when Novoselic, 59, Smear, 65, and Grohl performed together at the Hollywood Palladium in L.A. for the HEAVEN Benefit Concert.

Per NME, they had also previously performed together at Grohl’s Foo Fighters’ Cal Jam festival in 2018.

Thursday’s relief concert featured a lineup of stars who took turns to step in for the late Nirvana lead vocalist, Kurt Cobain, who died at the age of 27 in 1994.

The temporary band leads included Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, Joan Jett and Grohl’s 18-year-old daughter Violet, whom he shares with wife Jordyn Blum.

Novoselic presented the group’s last song of the evening, introducing Violet onto the stage before the band performed their classic 1993 hit “All Apologies.”

In a video shared on X, the young artist was captured closing her eyes as she sang over the live instrumentals.

No stranger to performing with her dad, Violet sang onstage at Glastonbury 2023 with Grohl’s Foo Fighters band.

Introducing his eldest child at the event’s Pyramid Stage, Grohl said, “My favorite singer in the world,” as Violet, then 17, appeared onstage.

“This is a song I wrote for my mother, Violet’s grandmother. This is ‘Show Me How,’ ” he continued.

The musician — who also shares daughters Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10, with Blum, 48, and recently welcomed a fourth child outside of his marriage — then yelled “That’s my girl!” as the pair finished the song. “I love it when you’re on stage with your daughter and you hit a bad note,” he also joked.

Violet had also previously performed the song during the Foo Fighters set in Alabama in June 2023.

Other stars who performed at the concert to help L.A. recover following the series of wildfires, included Pink, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Dr. Dre.
