30′ PSG 0-0 Liverpool
The best first half of a first half I’ve seen PSG have in the Champions League under Luis Enrique (accounting for opposition quality). Their opening 20 minutes probably warranted the goal that Kvaratskhelia had disallowed for offside.
They’ve made a bad habit of starting European games too cagey and had 13 first halves without scoring in their first 19 European games under the Spaniard.
PSG have looked much better with and without the ball so far. They’re showing the possession control Luis Enrique wanted and their press seems to have scared Liverpool into playing long.
They do look a little vulnerable to turnovers though, especially as both full-backs are pushing on.
