Officers told Jordan to get out of the car multiple times. Officers were concerned about an oncoming train about 10 minutes away, officers say on body camera. Jordan eventually got out of the car, but insisted he could get the car off the tracks—despite its wheels being buried in rocks from him spinning out.

Body camera video shows Jordan telling officers, “I am Marcus Jordan, I’m Michael Jordan’s son, I am not doing anything wrong, I am just trying to get home, and I made a wrong turn.”

This was as officers say he reeked of alcohol, was slurring his speech, his eyes were bloodshot, and he was confused about where he was.

Jordan was found not even a mile from where Seminole County Sheriff’s Office tried to pull him over on 17-92. It was about 10 minutes before Maitland Police found his vehicle stuck on the tracks.

Jordan told Maitland Police he was driving from Rachel’s Gentlemen’s Club in Casselberry. Earlier, he said he visited a few venues in Winter Park.

When asked how many drinks he had, body camera video shows he told officers he was under the legal limit.

He later resisted officers as they searched him and found a baggie of cocaine in his front pocket. Video shows he kicked at officers as they placed him in the back of the patrol car.

He was booked in the Orange County Jail after video showed he sang “Eye of the Tiger” in the back of the patrol car.
