After Ye‘s wife, Bianca Censori, hit the Grammys red carpet Sunday night in a nude dress that left little to the imagination, former View cohost and conservative commentator Meghan McCain decided once and for all she’d seen a little too much of the couple’s dynamic.
The 40-year-old controversial Republican media personality (and daughter of the late Sen. John McCain) posted — and later deleted — an incendiary criticism for both the recording artist formerly known as Kanye West, 47, and Censori, a 30-year-old model who married Ye in 2022.
“I just want and have wanted for years — for Kanye West to leave us all the hell alone,” McCain shared overnight on X, in the now-deleted post.

She continued, calling Ye “a repugnant, vile piece of garbage,” before setting her sights on Censori: “And his wife looks like a victim and a hostage.”
When reached for comment on why McCain deleted the post, a representative tells Entertainment Weekly: “She says it was an accident and she thinks he’s a vile pig.” (EW has reached out to representatives for Ye for a response.)
McCain’s comments came amid Censori’s headline-making attire at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she hit the red carpet alongside Ye before dropping a large fur coat to reveal a sheer dress that exposed most of her body to photographers. Ye, on the other hand, wore a black shirt, pants, and sunglasses.

Unfounded rumors quickly swirled out of the event, alleging that the couple weren’t invited to the ceremony and were escorted away from the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, Calif. as a result, though EW later learned that Ye and Censori left on their own shortly after arriving.
Ye and Censori’s relationship has been the subject of intense media scrutiny in recent years, after a series of odd public appearances — including in April 2024, when Ye and Censori visited Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., when the latter was seen walking around the theme park’s Star Wars-themed area in bare feet.
The pair went public with their relationship in 2022, after Ye separated from Kim Kardashian. Ye also courted controversy that year after voicing admiration for Adolf Hitler as well spouting anti-Jewish sentiments.

Her social media pages are also rife with criticism, particularly for other celebrities.
