Actor Kieran Culkin is best known for his role as the chaotic, single and childless Roman Roy in the hit HBO show “Succession.” And in his Oscar-nominated role in “A Real Pain,” he plays a chaotic, single, and childless Benji Kaplan.
But in real life, the actor is a father and husband. Culkin, who comes from a Hollywood powerhouse clan, shares two kids with his wife, Jazz Charton. Well, they have two kids for now.
While accepting an Emmy award in January 2024, he used his time onstage to plead with his wife for more kids. “You said maybe if I win,” he said, cheekily. His “Succession” co-star Matthew Macfadyen looked on in glee.
And then Culkin used his 2025 Oscar win for best supporting actor to now lobby for a fourth.
“After the show, we’re walking through a parking lot, she’s holding the Emmy, we’re trying to find our car … and she goes, ‘Oh god, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.’ And I turned to her and I said, ‘Really, I want four.’”
Culkin continued, “And she turned to me — I swear to god this happened, it was just over a year ago — she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’”
As a camera panned to his wife in the audience, Charton laughed and mouthed clearly, “I did!”
At the end of his speech, Culkin concluded: “No pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again. And let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?”

Kieran Culkin and Jazz Charton shared that they would be expecting their first child in 2019.
Charton hinted that their first born was conceived after that year’s Golden Globes with the hashtag #theglobeswerefun.
“My favourite surprise so far,” she wrote on instagram. “We had no idea how much we wanted this until it happened. We’re excited/terrified/ecstatic/unprepared but we cannot wait to meet our little unexpected creation in September #theglobeswerefun #koalatummy”
Their daughter, Kinsey Sioux, was born Sept. 19, 2019, they announced on Instagram.
Wilder Wolf
The couple welcomed their second child, Wilder Wolf, in 2021. Culkin told Ellen DeGeneres that they didn’t have a name for him for seven weeks.
“She’s in bed and we have a dry-erase board, and we just went over every name that we had thought of. And be like, ‘Let’s focus on girl names because we like these,’” Culkin said.
“And we narrowed it down to two girl names that we really liked, and we agreed that it was going to be one of those two names if it’s a girl and if it’s a boy we’re screwed. And we had a boy and spent seven weeks arguing about names.”
