Thelma star June Squibb had a great bit while presenting the Oscar for Makeup and Hair with actress Scarlett Johansson at the 2025 Oscars.
Squibb joked that she was really being played by Bill Skarsgård under several layers of makeup.
“Oh yeah, I mean half the time you see me, it’s not me. It’s Bill Skarsgård,” she told Johansson after the Jurassic World: Rebirth star questioned her. “The real June Squibb is at home with a book right now.”
Johansson caught on quickly.
“Bill Skarsgård, you mean the guy from Nosferatu and the clown in It?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Squibb said matter-of-factly. “And June Squibb at the Oscars! The big three.

Johansson, after claiming she woke up at 6 a.m. so that someone could do her makeup in a way that looks like she didn’t do her makeup, joined in the bit.
“Well that’s a relief because I’m actually being played by Andy Serkis,” Johansson said.
The Substance won the Oscar for Best Hair and Makeup.
