Hulkamaniacs didn’t appear to be running wild in Inglewood on Monday night.
Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan surprised fans when he appeared on “Monday Night Raw” for the WWE flagship show’s debut on Netflix.
His entrance music “Real American” hit the speakers and the sunglasses-clad 71-year-old walked into the arena with his famous red bandana over his head while donning a black t-shirt promoting his Real American Beer.

In true Hogan fashion, he tore open his shirt to reveal another one reading “Netflix is Raw.”
He was accompanied by his famous manager “Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart who was waving the American flag.
However, many fans weren’t happy to see the Hulkster, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and immediately began booing him.
“In the past, I’ve had a whole bunch of partners down the line. I had incredible partners, like the Macho Man Randy Savage. I’ve had giant-sized partners like Andre the Giant,” he said amongst the jeers from the crowd.
“But the greatest partner the WWE has ever had, is the fact that tonight, we’re making history, and the WWE has tag teamed up with Netflix, the greatest tag team partner of all time.”
In 2007, Hogan became unfavorable among some fans after a leaked sex tape revealed racist comments he made about who his daughter, Brooke, was dating. Following this, the WWE removed him from the Hall of Fame in 2015.
PEOPLE reports that Hogan claimed he resigned from the organization but the WWE said he was fired.
“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” Hogan told the outlet a decade ago.
He later apologized for the comments and the WWE reinstated him in 2018.
During the 2024 presidential election, Hogan was very vocal about his support for President-elect Donald Trump and even appeared at his rally over the summer.
The WWE launched its partnership with Netflix on Monday night. Earlier that day the company announced a multi-year partnership with Hogan’s beer.
