Well, you’ll be seeing your shadow this afternoon, full on sunshine with the groundhog. If you see your shadow, uh, that means winter is going to last just *** little bit longer for us here in central Mississippi. Seeing your shadow means you should probably head outside. Temperatures today will be in the lower 70s. Uh, warm sunshine carrying us through today. It’s gonna be *** warm winter day here. I think the highs is gonna get around 73 degrees now if you’re. going on the river, doing some fishing, the big black river currently has flood warnings along it stretching from north towards Atala County down to Warren County. So these are the levels they’ve been going down, but I do think we’ll get *** little lower or hold steady here over the next couple of days. So do keep in mind before you are heading out and stay safe. Temperatures tonight will be in the upper 40s, lower 50s. We’ll see some areas of patchy fog. In the morning, but overall the story is going to be warm due to this high pressure continuing to settle into the area. So temperatures today are going to be in the lower 70s tomorrow, middle 70s, and then late week. I do think we’ll sneak into the 80s, nearing record high temperatures. We see some showers on Friday, possibly, and that warm weather though continues to be with us through the weekend.
