A tough afternoon at the Emirates saw City fall to our first league defeat of 2025.

Martin Odegaard had struck to give the Gunners a second minute lead only for Erling Haaland to level affairs with a fine 55th minute header with what was his 150th club career goal.

However, two quickfire strikes in six minutes from Arsenal proved pivotal.

Within a minute of Haaland’s effort Thomas Partey fired home via a John Stones deflection to restore Arsenal’s lead before Myles Lewis-Skelly then struck to extend the hosts’ advantage.

A Kai Havertz effort on 76 minutes further extended the Gunners’ advantage before Ethan Nwaneri struck with the last kick of the game to round off a tough afternoon.
