Demi Moore is taking her shocking Oscars 2025 loss in the most relatable way — with two massive trays of French fries.
After losing her predicted win in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role category to Mikey Madison for Anora, the 62-year-old Substance star didn’t miss a beat, attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party alongside her three daughters — Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis — in a gold halter dress.
But after the afterparty, Moore’s real party began as she slipped into a white bathrobe and cuddled with her beloved dog Pilaf while dining on a buffet of fries with a smile on her face.
Tallulah, 31, shared the sweet pic of her mom to Instagram, writing, “MY winner 🍟”
Older sister Scout, 33, reposted the image, writing, “Queen of my heart!”
She also shared a message to her mom on her Instagram Stories in the wake of Moore’s loss, writing, “So beyond proud, this woman is nothing but integrity, bright beaming light and love! What grace. I’ve never been more proud to be her daughter.”

Prior to her Oscars defeat, Moore’ eldest daughter Rumer, 36, posted a tribute to her mom, gushing over her pride in the veteran actress’ career.
Calling Moore her “forever winner,” Rumer added, “Watching you today, standing in your power, in your brilliance, in the culmination of decades of hard work, resilience, and undeniable talent — I have never been more proud. You have dedicated your life to your craft, pouring every ounce of yourself into the stories you tell, the characters you bring to life, and the barriers you continue to break. And tonight, the world gets to witness what I have always known: you are a force.”

She added, “No matter what happens tonight, you are already victorious in my eyes. Because your legacy isn’t just in the awards or accolades — it’s in the way you have redefined what’s possible, for yourself and for every woman who dares to dream.”

Moore had already taken home the Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in The Substance.
During her Golden Globes acceptance speech in January, Moore moved viewers by celebrating her first major accolade after a storied career.
“I’m just in shock right now,” Moore said. “I’ve been doing this a long time, over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor and I’m just so humbled and so grateful.”

But it was Madison, 25, who took home the Oscar on Sunday, sharing her shock by declaring, “This is very surreal!”
Madison and Moore were up against Cynthia Erivo for Wicked, Karla Sofía Gascón for Emilia Pérez and Fernanda Torres for I’m Still Here in the Best Actress category.
“My mind is all over the place and my heart’s about to explode right now,” Madison told reporters, including PEOPLE, backstage after her win. “There’ll always be a small part of me that carries around the experience of making the film and the character, because it has changed my life in so many ways — not just because of all of this that’s happening right now, but just the experience of being able to work with Sean Baker and the experience of learning and meeting incredible people from the sex work community. That’s been such a wonderful part of this.”
