BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bills Mafia members around the world are celebrating after hearing Thursday night’s big announcement.

On Friday, we visited 26 Shirts where there are three new designs available to celebrate the MVP. 

Del Reid is not only the founder of 26 Shirts, he’s also a co-founder of Bills Mafia and was the Bills nominee for the 2023 NFL Fan of the Year Award. So we figured, why not ask him about what it was like Thursday night for him to see Josh Allen win this award.

“When they actually announced it, I yelled as if the Bills had just scored a game-winning touchdown. It was, like, honestly, we want to see Josh lift a different trophy, but … for what we’ve all had to, like, we’ve been sulking for the past almost two weeks, so this was a nicer way to end the season, or go into the offseason, with something like this. Finally, everybody in the country knows what we’ve known for years,” Reid said.

The three new designs all help Western New Yorkers in need with proceeds going to help their families with medical bills. 

There are also a thousand new posters up all around Buffalo. You might have seen them Friday downtown, and in Allentown, the Elmwood Village, and along Hertel Avenue. There are also billboards.

New Era put them up to promote a new T-shirt that supports Oishei Children’s Hospital. It’s a cause that means a lot to Josh Allen. Just five-hundred of the new “The Don” T-shirts were made, and you can only get them at New Era’s flagship store.

“This shirt represents who Josh is to this city. He is at the top of his game right now. He is the leader of the Mafia. He is the leader of the Bills, so on and off the field he is, he is the leader of Buffalo,” said Danielle Koch, New Era Cap Foundation, Director.

Koch says the shirt was designed a while ago. The New Era Cap Foundation is also matching all of the proceeds raised for the Patricia Allen Fund.
