Taylor Swift and JAY-Z are celebrating Queen Bey’s big moment.
After Beyoncé‘s Cowboy Carter won for album of the year at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday, Feb. 2, the Midnights songstress — who was also nominated in the category — and the rapper toasted to her victory.
In a moment caught on camera during the broadcast, Swift, 35, and JAY-Z, 55, were smiling as they clinked their champagne glasses together and said “cheers.” This is the first time the “Halo” singer has won in the category.
Swift, Beyoncé, André 3000, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Jacob Collier and Chappell Roan were nominated for the coveted award.

Earlier in the night, Beyoncé, 43, won the award for best country album and best country duo/group performance for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus, “II Most Wanted,” before the telecast. Ahead of the awards show, Beyoncé became the single most-nominated artist in the history of the ceremony with 99 nominations.

During her acceptance speech for best country album — which was presented by the “Cruel Summer” singer, Beyoncé encouraged people to “stay persistent.”
“Wow, I like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators. Thank you. This wouldn’t have been this album without you. Like to thank God again and my fans. And I still am in shock, thank you so much for this honor,” she said.
The 27-track album features collaborations with big names including Miley Cyrus and Post Malone — plus Beyoncé’s 6½-year-old daughter Rumi — as well Black country artists such as Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, Shaboozey and Willie Jones. Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Nile Rodgers, Jon Batiste, Gary Clark Jr.and Rhiannon Giddens perform instruments on various tracks.
