Quincy Jones tribute

For years, Quincy Jones was the most decorated Grammy winner of all time, so it is not surprise that the Recording Academy is putting on an all-star tribute to the great songwriter, composer, and musician. After honoring Tina Turner during the 2024 in memoriam Stevie Wonder and Janelle Monáe will return as Grammys performers to headline the tribute, Rolling Stone reports, joined by Herbie Hancock, Lainey Wilson, and Cynthia Erivo, who returns to the Grammys stage after performing at the Academy’s 2021 “Salute to the Sounds of Change.” More guests are still to be announced.

Raye

Rising star of UK pop Raye will reach a summit of sorts as she makes her Grammys debut. She’s up for three awards in her debut year of nomination, including Best New Artist, behind her 2023 debut My 21st Century Blues.

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter is making her Grammys debut in style, backing her first-ever nominations—all six, including in all of the Big Four categories, came at once—with a performance from her Album of the Year nominee Short ’n Sweet.

Shakira

Three-time Grammy winner Shakira is up for best Latin pop album this year, and she is hitting the Grammys stage a week just before diving into her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. A “Soltera” performance may be on the cards, based on her video announcement.

Sheryl Crow is back at the Grammys. Crow’s appearance follows her 2023 tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie during the in memoriam segment, where she played “Songbird” alongside Bonnie Raitt, and Mick Fleetwood.
