HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook Henrico County and surrounding localities Tuesday evening.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake took place just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Its epicenter was located about 1 mile north of Wyndham, 6.3 miles north of Short Pump and just under 10 miles from Glen Allen.
