The Kansas City Chiefs will welcome a familiar foe back to Arrowhead Stadium to kick off their postseason run.The Houston Texans, coming off a 32-12 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, will return to Arrowhead next week.The teams will square off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18. ESPN and ABC will air the game. The Chiefs, behind 260 passing yards and a touchdown from Patrick Mahomes, defeated the Texans 27-19 on Dec. 21.Mahomes went 28-for-41 for 260 yards, while Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 23-for-39 passes for 244 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.Xavier Worthy led all receivers with 65 yards and a touchdown on seven catches.The Chiefs scored 10 points off Stroud’s two interceptions.For Houston, the game marked the loss of wide receiver Tank Dell, who suffered a severe injury following a touchdown reception in the third quarter.It will be the third time the Chiefs have played the Texans in the postseason during the Andy Reid era, with Kansas City winning both previous games.In 2020, the Chiefs overcame a 24-0 deficit to win 51-31 in the divisional round.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —The Kansas City Chiefs will welcome a familiar foe back to Arrowhead Stadium to kick off their postseason run.

The Houston Texans, coming off a 32-12 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, will return to Arrowhead next week.
