Good morning Gang Green Nation! The Jets have released wide receiver Davante Adams after attempts to trade him came up empty. Allen Lazard is likely to follow soon after, as attempts to trade him are likely to also fall short of any interested trade partners. The Friends of Aaron are leaving the building as the new Jets regime attempts to clean up the mess left by the old regime and get a fresh start. As Jets fans can attest, a fresh start does not in any way guarantee future success. However, for now we can hope, at least until and unless the new regime proves that hope is misplaced. Let’s hope within a couple of seasons the Jets’ long playoff drought is over and the team is embarking on a path of sustained success.
