There were many sweet reunions at the 2025 Oscars—from Adrien Brody and Halle Berry recreating their iconic 2003 kiss to Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal‘s When Harry Met Sally moment. But, there was another cast reunion that went down relatively under the radar: Ghost co-stars Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg shared a sweet embrace while catching up on the red carpet.

In a video shared on X by Variety, Moore and Goldberg can be seen spotting each other on the carpet ahead of the ceremony. The two held hands and chatted before posing for a photo together. Most of their conversation was not picked up by the microphone, however, Moore could be heard telling Goldberg that she looked “gorgeous” in her Christian Siriano ballgown.

“I feel kind of cute,” Goldberg answered, to which Moore responded, “You do look kind of cute!”

The two actresses starred together in the 1990 film Ghost, alongside Patrick Swayze.

Goldberg even took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1991 for her role as Oda Mae Brown. On Sunday, Moore was nominated for her first Oscar for The Substance, however, she lost to Anora‘s Mikey Madison.

Earlier this year, however, Moore won the Golden Globe and delivered an emotional speech about being dubbed a “popcorn actress” earlier on in her career. “This is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor,” she shared. After being underestimated by a producer 30 years ago, Moore didn’t believe she was good enough to receive critical acclaim.

“In those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or successful enough or basically just not enough, I had a woman say to me, ‘Just know, you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick,'” she continued. “And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and the love that is driving me and the gift of doing something I love—and being reminded that I do belong.”
