Oscars 2025 Winners: Complete List (Live Updates)

Watch: Oscar Nominations 2025: Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie and More Snubs and Surprises

And the Oscar goes to…

Hollywood’s biggest night is just hours away with the 2025 Oscars set to kick off on Sunday, March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Hosted for the very first time by Conan O’Brien, the 97th Academy Awards will honor the year’s critically acclaimed movies, groundbreaking filmmakers and breakout acting performances.

The 2025 nominations are stacked with A-listers like Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Ralph Fiennes and Adrien Brody. (See the full list of 2025 Oscar nominees here.)

But after winning big all award season, it’s likely that first-time nominees and frontrunners Demi Moore (The Substance), A Real Pain‘s Kieran Culkin and Emilia Pérez‘s Zoe Saldaña will take home trophies in three of the four main acting categories following success at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards. However, don’t sleep on fellow first-time nominees and Anora‘s breakout stars Mikey Madison and Yura Borisov.

As for the top honor of Best Picture, AnoraEmilia Pérez and The Substance will battle it out against Dune: Part 2, Wicked, Nickel Boys, Conclave, I’m Still Here, The Brutalist and A Complete Unknown for the final award of the night.

But awards aside, the Oscars is sure to be a night filled with unmatched entertainment and unexpected moments that everyone will be talking about the next day.

Especially after new emcee O’Brien recently teased, “I am going to go into the audience, and I’m going to shave Stanley Tucci‘s chest. He has not consented. He’s heard about it, and he said no, but I’m going to still do it.”

Jokes aside, the former late night talk show host has been putting in the work to ensure the show is anything but boring.

“I don’t care if my ideas are bad ideas. I care that they’re new and you haven’t seen it before,” he told ABC News. “You know what I mean? Wrestling a giant cobra, you know, for the first time onstage hasn’t been done.”

Plus, with performances by Erivo, Grande, Doja Cat, Queen Latifah and Lisa from BLACKPINK, and presenters like Halle Berry, Sterling K. Brown, Penélope Cruz, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone, Oprah Winfrey, Harrison Ford and Bowen Yang, prepare to be wowed.

Keep reading to see all the big winners from tonight’s 2025 Academy Awards.
