Harrison Ford will no longer appear as a presenter at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday.
The “Indiana Jones” star, 82, stepped down from the gig on Saturday morning after he was diagnosed with shingles on Friday, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Ford, who was announced as one of the show’s presenters on Wednesday, is doing okay and resting after the diagnosis, the outlet reported.

The Mayo Clinic describes shingles as a non-life-threatening viral infection that causes a painful rash.
Shingles occurs years after a person gets the varicella-zoster virus, which is the same virus that causes chickenpox.
After a person recovers from chickenpox, the virus hides in their nerves and can reactivate as shingles later in life.
On Feb. 23, Ford appeared to be in good spirits when he was spotted at the Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside his “Shrinking” castmates.
In a clip from the ceremony, he jokingly interrupted the opening introduction of his co-star Jessica Williams and received a big laugh from the audience.
Ford was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor for the comedy series about a blunt, grieving therapist but lost the SAG Award to Martin Short, who stars in the Hulu hit series “Only Murders in the Building.”

“Shrinking” was also nominated for the SAG Award’s best ensemble in a comedy series but the show, once again, lost to “Only Murders in the Building.”
The “Star Wars” star was newly announced to present at the Academy Awards with stars like Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Margaret Qualley, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaña, and Rachel Zegler.
Previously announced presenters included Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Robert Downey Jr., Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez and Oprah Winfrey.
It was not revealed which award Ford was tasked with presenting or whom he would be alongside during the show.
The “Fugitive” performer’s newest hurdle comes nearly two months after the deadly Palisades Fire threatened his $12.6 million home as it raged through Los Angeles County.
Ford was spotted chatting with police while returning to his home in Brentwood after evacuating.

The Hollywood legend has given no indications he plans to step away from the spotlight.
When he hit the red carpet for Season 2 of his “Yellowstone” prequel show “1923,” Ford told reporters he will retire “when you forget my name” and that he hasn’t thought about stepping back from acting.
Ford, who plays Jacob Dutton on the series, praised creator Taylor Sheridan’s writing for keeping him from quitting.
“His writing is exceptional,” Ford told Extra. “He’s an incredible storyteller. Nothing like that that I’ve ever seen.”
Ford was a professional carpenter until his acting career took off with roles like Bob Falfa in “American Graffiti,” Han Solo in the “Star Wars” franchise and Indiana Jones in “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
Ford received nominations for a BAFTA, Golden Globe and Oscar in 1986 for his role as John Book in the 1985 film “Witness.”
